Yalumba 2006 "The Scribbler" Cabernet Shiraz

"SON OF SIGNATURE"
In late 2008 Yalumba launched a new label called The Scribbler. It's a cabernet [63%] and shiraz [37%] blend that is designed to pay homage to one of their flagship reds.
"The Signature" first made its appearance in 1962 well before everyone had a marketing department and well before most of us had ever heard of the word.
This is a classic marketing exercise where you can just envisage a little think tank group having their "eureka!" moment. At least it's a damn fine red as so many first releases are. Big chunky SA style.

Our Price: $17 per bottle by the doz
